I really enjoy the plugin. It allows you to automate your glitches with some cool variations without having to clip and snip your original audio sources.
When I saw that advertisement I got pretty excited. I don't know if my expectations superseded my purchase.
I'm still trying to figure out how this unit can provide the fairy dust I'm looking for when it comes to track editing. I really love the sales promotion. It got me excited enough to purchase it. I wish and hopes of a tutorial that can open my mind a little further with the unit. JST has some really great plugins. I'm just trying to figure out how to use X Repeater.
This one really adds some sick effects right off the bat! Been using it as much as I can! Love it!
Im a big stutter fan and glitch whatever..over the past _ear ive bought about 6 different stutter/glitch/looper plugins and some are overly complicated to do a basic transition in stutter rate. With this JST X-Repeater,it jjst made me able to get what i wanted much quicker. The automation is easy and accurate. You know whats going ro happen instead of how Ive had other plugins do which is pull something different or leave artifacts. Glad I found this.i did the trial first then bought it right away.
I'm a huge JST fan and love and use quite a few of his products.
I see great potential in using X Repeater to do what use to take me hours to accomplish by cutting and pasting.
My only thing is.....it took me forever to figure "HOW" to use it. I dont have a MIDI controller so I had to figure out how to automate it. Theres no tutorials what so ever on how to actually use it.
I've figured it out now by trial and error and look forward to using it.
