Finality is a limiter designed from the ground up to be both powerful and versatile. Whether your source is very dynamic like drums and vocals, or more flat like distorted rhythm guitars and synth, Finality can be dialed to masterfully control peak and level dynamics in your mix.

  • Hard and soft modes will change the character of the transients
  • Aggro can alter the release envelope to be more favorable to drums.
  • Need a little edge? The color button can add helpful saturation to a signal.
  • There’s even a mix control to allow for parallel processing.
  • Anticipate and handle any unruly peaks with look ahead.
  • Utilize the sidechain to optimally react to low-end material
  • Auto gain automatically sets the make-up gain and can be switched off

Don’t be limited. Be versatile.

Finality Advanced is our fully featured Limiter built for ultimate versatility and performance. Finality Lite is a more light weight version of Finality Advanced with less controls and less features. Finality Advanced includes Finality Lite.

Finality Lite is AWESOME!

I got Finality Lite after watching a run through of a guitar mix a guy was doing where he used it to add aggression to the guitars. Well, I can tell you that it works very well for that!!
What I found after is that this thing is awesome on just about anything to get it to aggressively punch through the mix. I usually use a similar limiter to an L1 which is great for many cases. But Finality has so much character that it’s replaced that on many things in the mix. The next huge bonus is that it’s so much more SIMPLE to get whatever you’re using it on to where you want it in the mix. Just by pushing the threshold and then adjusting the output level. As if you’re not thinking about enough details in a mix; Finding the perfect release and ceiling settings for every instrument gets a bit old, and it’s always up for debate anyway. Finality lite changes that, leaving you with the good old “mix with your ears” approach that you hear about so often. Which is NOT the usual case for limiters, and that could be making us oblivious to the limiter’s ability to add character to the mix instead of simply finding “the right numbers” for loudness.
You can save the more detailed limiting for your mastering chain where I would assume that Finality advanced would be more suitable. This has become one of my favorite plug-ins right now.

It's a compressor/limiter, I guess?

I like Finality, it is nothing new or fancy and I could probably achieve the same results with other plugins. But it sounds good, I like a subtle effect on the drum buss and an eggressive setup on the parallel drums channel. No complaints, just straight to the point.

Finality on drums....and more.

Bought this as I was finding I couldn't get the Wav&s L2 or CLA76 plugins to produce the result I was after. Specifically needed a compessor/limiter for sidechaining to my drums. That said, I find it creeps onto guitars, instrument bus and even vocals sometimes. Very impressed with the eq side chain and the choice to add "colour" or to leave it out and be more transparent. Excellent value buy.
