This is an excellent opportunity for a talented engineer to join our R&D software team, working on cross-platform DAW plug-ins using JUCE, C++, and integrating PACE/iLok protections. You will collaborate on specifications with product managers, take responsibility for upgrading a current product line, and drive improvements to the current codebase. You will assist our lead developer on tasks; ensure coding standards and code quality, and maintaining the team culture. Main objectives of role:
- Upgrade our current line of DAW plug-ins: porting and coding thus through the JUCE C++ framework and integrating PACE/iLok protection
- Collaborate to review code, fix bugs, and improve the codebase
- Propose technical solutions to product managers’ specifications
Minimum requirements:
- 3+ years industry programming experience using an OO language
- Degree in a related field or equivalent training and industry experience
- Knowledge of key software design principles and best practice development processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Experience developing audio plug-ins with the JUCE C++ framework
- MacOS native development
