Job Title: Audio Engineer / Musician - Howard Benson Covers Project
Compensation: $2,000.00 USD
Overview: We are seeking an experienced audio engineer / musician to join our Howard Benson Cover Project. The project involves covering some of the best songs that Howard has produced with fresh and highly polished recreations as instrumentals. The selected candidate will be responsible for locating the best 60 second part of each song, recreating each song from scratch, creating backing tracks and audio sessions, editing, and mixing everything to sound as good as or better than the original.
You are ONLY doing the instrumental - we already have several vocalists on board to do the vocal portion of this!
Responsibilities:
- Locate the best 60 second part of each song
- Recreate each song with entirely new recordings using the latest technology and techniques
- Create all the backing tracks and audio sessions
- Edit and mix the final product to meet or exceed the quality of the original song
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an audio engineer
- Excellent knowledge of music production techniques and software
- Familiarity with editing and mixing software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or Ableton Live (You can use any DAW you like)
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Passion for music and sound quality
