I've owned nearly all bass plugins. Most don't really capture how you want your bass to sound and feel in a mix by themselves... You usually need several other plugins and have to duplicate your bass track two or three times to get everything dialed in. So, by the time you're done you have a couple compressors, a couple EQ filters & notches, amp sims, distortion plugins, and then another buss to route to and "glue" everything back together, so-to-speak...... In my opinion, this plugin gets rid of all of that..... One plugin.... Done! Three different types of distortion, and tonal options are pretty limitless. No cab sims to mess with, mic placement, or track duplicating..... Everything is handled right there in one plugin and that's it. No menus to flip thru or a plugin "trying" to sound like this Ampeg or that Darkglass... Dial in what you want and move on!
